The Jaspen Corporation Web Design Terms
A signed contract and deposit is required for new web site design. Balance due on contract and any additional costs must be paid in full (Net Due 10 days) before web site is activated.
Your first 1-hour consultation for a new web site is free by telephone or in our office only. Travel to your office or business within a 50 mile radius will be charged by the hour, plus mileage ($0.50 p/mile), and will be due at the end of the session. Minimum charge, $80.00.
Additional consultations by phone or in person prior to signing of a contract will be charged a rate of $80.00 p/hour, and due at the time of service.
Initial written quote is provided at a cost of $80.00, pre-paid. Additional or revised quotes, will be charged at a rate of $80.00 each, pre-paid.
New or additional text content for your website is expected to be provided in digital format. Acceptable file types or formats are: MS Word (.doc), Rich Text Format (.rtf), Text Format (.txt) or Mac Pages (.pages). In some cases PDF files will be accepted. Text provided in printed documents or requiring transcription will incur a $10 per page fee.
Images or graphics created for your website are for web use only. Images obtained from royalty-free services for your website are licensed for web use only and cannot be reproduced in print without purchase of additional licensing fees.
Final payment of full contract price including any additional incurred charges guarantees you ownership and responsibility of all websites files, database(s), and other programming that comprise your public website except where applications or programming are exclusive to the web server on which your website resides.
Backup copies of your original website files will be maintained for one year after the launch of your site. If the Jaspen Corporation provides maintenance services to your website additional backups will be created and retained for one year after the last maintenance date.
